Abstract

ADE FITRIA FAJRI. 8105132102. The Influence of Firm Size and Leverage on Dividend Policy. Accounting Education, Faculty of Economic, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2017 This research aim to analyze the influence of Firm Size and Leverage on Dividend Policy. Dividend Policy is the dependent variable in this research were measured by Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Meanwhile for the independent variables using firm size were measured by total assets and leverage were measured by debt to equity ratio. Secondary data used in this research with a population of manufacture companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2016. While the sampling method used was simple random sampling method which is overall 48 samples choose. This research uses multiple regression method to test the hypothesis with SPSS 24 computer program. Statistical analysis showed Firm Size has a significance value below 0,05 and has positive regression coefficient. Leverage has a significance value above 0,05 and has a negative regression coefficient. The result of this research can be concluded that Firm Size and Leverage has significant influence on dividend policy.
