Abstract

TRI HANIFAH. The Effects of Foreign Direct Investment, Labor Absorption and Infrastructure on Indonesia's Economic Growth in 1988-2018. Skripsi, Jakarta: Study Program of Economic Education, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2020. This research aims to determine the effect between foreign direct investment (FDI), labor absorption and infrastructure on Indonesia's economic growth in 1988-2018. The data used in this research are secondary data, with the type of data that is the data period (time series) period 1988-2018 obtained from the World Bank and BPS. The method of this research is expost facto. Analysis of the data used in this research is multiple linier regression analysis. The results of this research showed the foreign direct investment (X1) on economic growth (Y) tcount 2,263 > 2,05183 ttable, labor absorption (X2) on economic growth (Y) tcount 2,172 > 2,05183 ttable, and infrastructure (X3) on economic growth (Y) tcount 2,671 > 2,05183 ttable. Based on the F Test shows that there is a positive and significant effect between foreign direct investment (FDI), labor absorption, and infrastructure on economic growth Fcount 15,622 > Ftable 2,95. The coefficient of determination (R2) obtained is 0.634 has a definition of economic growth in Indonesia could be explained by direct investment (FDI), labor absorption and infrastructure as amount 63.4% while the rest could be explained by others factor that can not be mentioned in this research model.
