Abstract

Sayyidatu Lutfiyah. 8105133142. “The Influence of Learning Motivation and Family Socioeconomic Status on Interest to Continue Study to Collage in Student of Grade XI at SMA Al Jihad Jakarta”. Skripsi. Jakarta: Study Program of Economic Education, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, February 2020. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of learning motivation and family socioeconomic status on the interst to continue study to collage in student of grade XI at SMA Al Jihad Jakarta. This research was conduct for 6 months from March to August 2019. The research method is survey with correlation approach. The population affordability is all student from grade XI at SMA Al Jihad Jakarta, which amounted to 105 students. The sample used in this research was 84 students using simple random sampling technique. Data variable Y (interst to continue study to collage) and X2 (learning motivation) are primary data, while variable X1 (family socioeconomic status) is secondary data. The data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 version. The result of F test in ANOVA table produces Farithmetic (4,625) > Ftabel (3,11), this means learning motivation and and family socioeconomic status simultaneously positively influence the the interst to continue study to collage. Then t test produces tarithmetic X1 (2,183)> ttable (1,989) and tarithmetic X2 (2,654) > ttable (1,989). Then regression equation obtained was Ŷ = 32,318 + 0,226 X1 + 0,313 X2. The dependent variable depends on the value of determination coefficient (R square) which is 53,7% while the rest is 46,3% is influenced by other independent variables that are not researched. The conclusion of this research is there is a positive and significant influence between learning motivation and family socioeconomic status on the interst to continue study to collage in student of grade XI at SMA Al Jihad Jakarta Keyword: Learning Motivation, Family Socioeconomic Status, Interest to Continue Study to Collage
