Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the Balancing Fund and the Size of the Regional Government on the Financial Performance of the Banten Provincial Government in 2012-2018 with Regional Original Income as a moderating variable. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Regional Financial Management Agency of Banten Province. The sampling technique used is non-probably sampling with the saturated sample method, that is, the total population is used as a sample of 8 cities / regencies in Banten Province, using the SPSS 26 program. The results of this study indicate that the Government Funds Balance and Size have a negative effect Financial Performance of Banten Provincial Government 2012-2018. Regional Original Revenue as a moderating variable can moderate the relationship of the Balancing Funds to the Regional Government Financial Performance, but Regional Original Revenue cannot moderate the relationship of the Regional Government Size to the Financial Performance of the Banten Provincial Government 2012-2018.
