Abstract

RIZKY PRATAMA. The Effects of Self - Potential and Parents' Socio-Economic Status on Interest Continuing Study to University Mediated by Learning Student Achievement In Accounting and Financial Institution Programs at South Jakarta Vocational High School. Thesis, Jakarta. Economic Education Study Program. Faculty of Economic, Jakarta State University. This study aims to determine the effect of Self Potential, Socio-Economic Status of Parents on Interest in Continuing Education to Higher Education through mediation of Learning Achievement in VHS students in South Jakarta. The population in this study were 143 students from two namely SMKN 6 Jakarta and SMKN 15 Jakarta. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling to obtain a sample of 104 students.. The data is said to be normally distributed and linear. Based on the results test of the path analysis test obtained, 1) there is an influence on There is a positive and significant effect on the Potential of Self on Interest in Continuing Education to Higher Education. 2) There is no significant effect on parents' socioeconomic status on their interest in continuing education to tertiary institutions. 3) There is a positive and significant influence on Student Achievement on Interest in Continuing Education to Higher Education. 4) There is no influence on Self Potential on Student Learning Achievement. 5) There is a negative and significant influence on Parents' Socio-Economic Status on Student Learning Achievement. 6) There is no influence on Self Potential on Interest in Continuing Education to Higher Education with mediation of Student Learning Achievement. 7) There is no influence on the Parental Socio-Economic Status of Interest in Continuing Education to Higher Education by mediating Student Achievement.
