Abstract

BAMBANG PURNOMO SIDI, Relationship Between Pattern Of Parenting With Discipline In Study On Student XI Grade 10 Vocational High School In Jakarta. This research was conducted in classes XI SMK 10 Jakarta. During the seven months since the month of November 2015 until May 2016. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between pattern of parenting with discipline studying in XI grade 10 VHS in Jakarta. The method used is survey method with the correlational approach, the population used is a XI grade student of 10 VHS in Jakarta. The sampling technique used is the simple random sampling technique as much as 55 people. The resulting regression equation is Y = 34.983 + 0.564 X. Test normality test requirements analysis is the estimation error of regression of Y on X with the test Liliefors produce Lhitung = 0.072, while Ltabel for n = 55 at 0.05 significant level was 0.119. Because Lhitung < Ltabel the estimated error of regression of Y on X normal distribution. Linearity Regression Test generate Fhitung < Ftabel is 0.98 < 1.96, so it can be concluded that the linear regression equation. Significance of the regression test produces Fhitung > Ftabel that’s 25.46 > 4.03, so it can be inferred that the regression equation significantly. The correlation coefficient of Pearson product moment generating rxy = 0.570, then the correlation coefficient significance test was done by using the t test and the resulting t = 5.05 and the table = 1.68. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between variables X with variables Y. The coefficient of determination obtained at 32.45%, which shows that 32.45% variable discipline in study is determined by the pattern of parenting.
