Abstract

Choirunnisa, Relationship Between Professional Teacher Competence With Learning Motivation In Students SMK Negeri 22 Jakarta. This study aims to obtain information and to find out whether there is a positive relationship between the competence of professional teachers with student motivation at SMK Negeri 22 in East Jakarta. This research was conducted for five months starting from January 2017 until June 2017 at SMK Negeri 22 JakartaTimur. The research method used is survey method with correlational approach, the population used is the students of class X Marketing 1, X Marketing 2, XI Marketing 1, XI Marketing 2 in SMK Negeri 22 JakartaTimur. The sampling technique used is a simple random sampling technique taken proportionally as much as 110 people. Sampling is based on the table determining the number of samples from a certain population with 5% error level. To capture data from competency variables Teachers (X) and Motivation Learning (Variable Y) used Likert scale model. Before the instrument is used, the previous validity test is done. Based on the calculation results diketahuidari 30 points of Professional Teacher Competence statement there are 26 valid statements and 30 items of Motivation Learning statements there are 26 valid statements. Competency reliability calculation of professional competence of teachers using Cronbach Alpha formula. The calculation results show that the reliability of variables Ysebesar 0.9037 and X of 0.9322. These results prove that the instrument of the variable X and Y is reliable. The resulting simple linear regression equation is Ŷ = 38.819 + 0.630 X. The test requirements analysis to test the normality of the regression error of Y over X indicates that the regression error of Y over X is normally distributed. This is evidenced by the result of calculation showing that Lhitung (0,0590) <Ltabel (0,0845) by using Liliefors test at significant level ( ) = 0,05. In hypothesis test, significance test and regression kelinieran using variance analysis table (Table Anava). From result of calculation of regression significance test obtained Fhitung (101,50)> Ftabel (3,91) this matter indicate that regresi mean. As for the test of regression linear obtained Fcount (1.28) <Ftabel (1.65) this shows that the regression model used linear. Correlation coefficient is calculated using Product moment formula and produce rxy value of 0.696, while for the test results significance using T-test obtained tcount (10,075)> ttabel (1,658), so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the competence of Professional teachers with student learning motivation at SMK Negeri 22 in East Jakarta. To calculate the coefficient of determination obtained value of 0.4845 or 48.45%. This shows that the variation of students' learning motivation is determined by the competence of the teacher Professional. The conclusion in this research is there is a positive relationship between the competence of Professional teachers with the motivation of student learning at SMK Negeri 22 in East Jakarta. It can be interpreted the higher the professional competence of teachers, the higher the motivation of students in SMK Negeri 22 in East Jakarta.
