Abstract
ABSTRACT ALIENDA RETNOSARI P. Correlation Between Type A Behavior With Job Stress On Employees In PT Gikoko Kogyo Indonesia. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration in Office Administration Education, Study Program of Economics Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2013. The research is held at PT Gikoko Kogyo Indonesia on May until June 2013. The purpose of this research is to get knowledge (authentic, exact, valid) and trustable (reliable, and based on reality) about the correlation between type A behavior with job stress on employees. The method of this research is survey method with correlational approach. The population in this research is all of the employee of PT Gikoko Kogyo Indonesia and the reach population research is the employee of PT Gikoko Kogyo Indonesia with total 63 employees. And then the count for used sample is 55 employees. This research use several data analysis techniques. The first is to find the regression equation. From the analysis of the regression equation, gets Y = 38.36 + 1.199X. In normality experiment with lilliefors formula for variable X, gets Lo =0,099, Ltable for n = 55 with significant value 0,05 is 0,100. Ltable > Lo (0,100 > 0,099). So, can be concluded that the data is distribute normally. Next, based on the value of linearity experiment, it gets F0 (0.83) > Ftable (1.93). so can be concluded that the data is is liniear. For the hypothesis, correlational coefficient with Product Moment from Pearson gets 0.054 as correlational coefficient that is show a positive correlation between type A behavior with job stress on employee. Based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination, 29.20% variation of Job Stress on employees is determined by the level of Type A personality, while the remaining is determined by other factors. Based on these research, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between type A personality with job stres on employee.
