Abstract

ABSTRACT ARIEF HIDAYAT. The Correlation Between Study Habits With Student’s Achievement At SMKN 40 Jakarta . Scientific Paper, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Study Program of Economics Education, Department Economics Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, 2012. The study aims to determine whether there is correlation between study habits with students’s achievment at SMKN 40 Jakarta and also to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to prove it. The research has been done for three months since April until June 2012. The method of this research is survey method with correlation approach. The population research was all students office administration program from SMKN 40 Jakarta. And affordable population of this study is a class XI student which amounts to 180 students. The sample used as many as 119 students by using proportional random sampling. To get data about X variable (study habists) by using replica from Harry N. Blumener and Herbert C.richads that shows internal consistency reliability = 0,77. And for Y variable (Student’s Achievment)is from scholl data. Analysis of requirement test was doing by finding regression equation. It’s shows Y = 55.33 + 0,382X . Result of Lilliefors Normality test is Lcount =0,077 and Ltable for n=119 at significance rate 0,05 is 0,081. L count < Ltable its means X and Y are normally distributed. For significant test Fcount regression obtained (62,67) > Ftable (3,91) this proves that the regression is meanfull. While the linear test produce Fcount (0,70) < Ftable (1,70), this mean use the linear regression models. And Product Moment test of correlation coefficient r xy yield of 0,591. The t test result is tcount (7,92)> ttable (1,67) The calculation of the coefficient of determination yield r xy 2 (0,591) 2 =0,34this shows that 34,88% of variances is determined by self efficacy. The conclusion of this research is there’s a positive relationship between study habits with students’s achievment at SMKN 40 Jakarta
