Abstract

ABSTRACT MACHDUM IRFAN. 8115083543. The Correlation Between Work Environment and Intrinsic Motivation on Employees of PT Fujisei Plastik Seitek. Under Graduated Thesis, Jakarta: Concentration of Educational of Office Administration, Study Program of Economics Education, Department Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University, 2013. This research aims to find out the correlation between Work Environment and Intrinsic Motivation on employees of PT Fujisei Plastik Seitek. The research was done for seven months since June 2012 until March 2013. Survey method with correlational approach was used in this research. The population of this research are the employees PT Fujisei Plastik Seitek with 170 employees as limited population on Production Division and 114 employees as the sample and this research use simple random sampling. To get the X variable’s data, this research used the instruments which are measured by questionnaire using Likert Scale. Y variable was also measured by questionarre using likert scale. The regression equality of this research is Y = 10,14 + 0,58X. The normality test by using liliefors table results Lcount = 0,0484 meanwhile the Ltable for sample of 114 = 0,08298, Because of Lcount < Ltable, X variable and Y variable has a normal distribution. The hipothesis test by using meaning regression test got the Fcount = 42,83 and Ftable 3,91. Because of Fcount 42,83 > Ftable 3,91, it can be proved that the regression equality is significant. From the regression linearity test, got Ftable = 1,51 meanwhile Fcount = -0,64. Because of Fcount (-0,64) < Ftable (1,51), it can be concluded that regression equality is linear. The coeficient correlation test of Product Moment results rcount= 0,526. Then coeficient correlation test by using t-test results tcount (6,553) > ttable (1,658). It can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between Work Environment and Intrinsic Motivation on the employees of PT Fujisei Plastik Seitek. Coeficient determination test results 27,72%. It is mean that 27,72% Intrinsic Motivation on employees are influenced by Work Environment and 72,28% are influenced by other factors.
