Abstract

ABSTRACT MUHAMAD IMRON. The influence of Cooperative Learning Model type STAD of Office Administration Students Learning Motivation in SMK 31 Jakarta. Scientific Paper, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Study Program of Economics Education, Department Economics Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, October 2012. This research aims to find out empirically if there is a significant difference between study motivation of students who use cooperative learning model type STAD with students who got conventional approach (lectures). Based on theory and concepts as well as frame of mind, then formulated the research hypothesis that States that there is a significant difference between learning motivation of students in a group of experiments in the use of cooperative learning model type STAD with students in the control group using conventional learning model. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri Jakarta 31 odd semester academic year 2012/2013 calculated from 10 October 2012 up to november 7, 2012. This research uses quasi experiment method with the quantitative approach, with a sample of research as much as two grades that add up to 75 students. Sampling is done with a technique pickup according to destination. This research Instrument in the form of a kueisoner question form in the content by using the likert scale. This Instrument is used to find out the motivation of learning of students in both classes. The collected Data were analyzed using t-test at significance level 0.05. from the results of the calculation of thitung data obtained 3.36 while ttabel on significance level 0.05 and degrees of freedom (dk) 73 is 2.00. This means that the value of t results count more larger than the value of the table t, so the value t calculate significant to reject Ho on the significance level 0.05. from the calculation test the hypothesis by using difference test (test-t) gained an average of learning motivation of students who use cooperative learning model type STAD (X 1 = 84,08) higher than the learning motivation of students who use conventional learning model (X 2 = 78,51).
