Abstract

ABSTRACK WA ODE MERIAWATI. The Influence Self Esteem and Self Efficacy Toward Academic Achievement on Student of Faculty Economics State University of Jakarta.Skripsi, Jakarta: Study Program Of Economic Education, Concentration in Office Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2013. This research conducted to find if there is Influence between Self Esteem and Self Efficacy of Academic Achievement on Student of University of Jakarta. This research was condutected for two month starting January until March 2013. The research method use is survey method with correlational approach. This is the entire population research student of Faculty Economic and a population of 2.768, affordable student research is Study Program Of Economic Education of 225 people. The sample used as many as 135 people using proportional sampling technique. The instruments used to obtain data on the X1 variable (Self Esteem) replica of The Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale (RSES), X 2 variable (Self Efficacy) replica of New General Self Efficacy (NGSE). Variable of Y (Academic Achievement) product bye Index of Achievement. Techniques of data analysis using SPSS 17.0. From the results of F-test, found that Self Esteem and Self Efficacy simultaneously influence to Academic Achievement seen from F count (52,211) > F table (3,07). T-test result in t count of X1 (Self Esteem)registration 5,051 and t table of 1,645, because 5,051> 1,645 then declared self esteem has significant positive influence on academic achievement. While t count from X2 (self efficacy) of 6,607 and t table of 1,645, because t count > t table , then it can be inferred that there was a significant positive influence between self efficacy of the academic achievement. As for the R 2 of 0,442 which means that the academic achievement can be explained by the variable self esteem and self efficacy of 44,2% and the remaining 55,8% influenced by other variables which are not examined. Following from this research, the conclusion is there was the influence between self-esteem and self- efficacy toward academic achievement on student.
