Abstract

ABSTRACT SANTI PURWATI,8115090289, The Influence Of Study Motivation And Study Habits To Academic Achievement Of Students At Smkn 46 Jakarta. Srkipsi, Jakarta: Concentration Education of Office Administration, Program Studyof Economics Education, Departement Economic and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta,2013. This study aims to determine whether there is the influence of study motivation and study habits to academic achievement of studentsat SMK N 46 Jakarta. The study was conducted over three months from Mei 2013 until July 2013. The research method used is urvey method with the causality approach. The population was all class XI students of SMK N 46 Jakarta wich amount to 219 students. The sample used as many as 135 students by using propotional random sampling. Data variable academic achievement is a secondary data obtained form report study in midle semester 2012/2013 years. While the data variable study motivation and study habits obtained by using a questionnaire. Before the instrument used, the construct vadility for the variable X was tested, the result is form 36 statements of variable X1 1 that has been validated as many as 29 statement declared valid and the remaining 7 statementsdrop. After that, reliability testing of Cronbach Alpha formula tested. The result of the reliability of the variable X (study motivation) is 0.899 while the realiability of the variable X (studyhabits) is 0898. Techniques of data analysis using SPSS 17.0 begins with finding the rest requirements analysis test. Normality test Y (academic achievement) is 0.200, X (study motivation) is 0.073, and X (study habits) is 0.200 whice are all more than the 0.05 then the data are normaly distributed. Linearity test result study motivation with academic achievement of 0.000 which is less than the 0.05, it can be concluded the data study motivation with academic achievement has a linear relationship. Then the result of linearity test study habits with academic achievment of 0.04 which less than the 0.05, it can be concluded the data study habits with academic achievment also has a relationship linearly. Structural equation obtained isY = 64.773 + 0.094 X21 + 0.039 X. Test the hypothesis that the F test in ANOVAtable produces F count (7.736) > F2 (3.06), this means that study motivation and study habits simultaneously effect the academic achievement. T test produce t count table of study motivation is (6.578) > t(1.96) and t count of study habits is (2.507) > t (1.96),it can be concluded that is influence on the study motivation an study habits with academic achievement. The results of these studies concluded that there is a positive influence between study motivation an study habits with academic achievement is 29.6%. table Keywords: academic achievement, study motivation, study habits
