Abstract

ABSTRACT SINTA NOVITA SARI. Relationship Between Physical Work Environment with Morale On Employee Of PT Astra International Tbk-Daihatsu Sales Operation. Script, Jakarta: Office Administration Concentrations of Education, Economics Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administrations, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2012. This study aims to determine the relationship between Physical Work Environment with Morale on Employee of PT Astra International Tbk-Daihatsu Sales Operation. This research was conducted over four months, starting from April to July 2012. The research method used is survey method with the correlation approach. The population of the research was all the employees of PT Astra International Tbk-Daihatsu Sales Operation. Achievable population is the PDC DSO Section employees. The sampling technique used is proportional random sample of 47 respondents. The instrument used to obtain data on X variable (Physical Work Environment) and Y variable (Employee Morale) in this study were measured using a Likert Scale. The data analysis technique starts by looking for a simle regression equation and the regression equation is Y = 3,54 + 0,659 X, whereas requirements analysis test which test the normality of regression estimates error Y over X with the Liliefors test is obtained Lhitung < Ltabel Atau 0,047 < 0,129, this mean that sample from population is normal distribution. Significant and linier test which used Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) table was obtained F hitung > Ftabel 19,04 > 4,06, this mean that the regression is significant and linier test was obtained F hitung < Ftabel 0,96 < 2,05, this mean that the regression model is linier. Correlation coefficient hypothesis test conducted using the formula r xy Product Moment by Pearson yield of r xy = 0,545; it means the relationship between two variables was strong. Significant test with t count = 4,36 whereas t table = 1,68. Because t count > t table , it means that there was significant relationship between physical work environment with morale on employee in PT Astra International Tbk-Daihatsu Sales Operation. Determination coefficient test yield is 29,73%, so it is concluded that there are positive and significant relationship between physical work environment with morale.
