Abstract

ABSTRACT RIMA MAHARANI AZIZ. Development of Economic Learning Model Character Based Education Students at SMAN 1 Tarumajaya in Bekasi Regency. Thesis, Jakarta. Economic Cooperation Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University, June 2017. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Tarumajaya, for three months from February 2017 until April 2017. The research method used in this research is Research and Development (R & D). Research and development methods are used to produce a particular product and test the effectiveness of the product. R & D research is a deliberate, systematic, purposeful or directed research method for finding, defining, improving, developing, producing, testing the effectiveness of a product, model, method or strategy or a new, superior, Effective, efficient, productive and meaningful. This research is intended to develop products in the form of economic learning model based on character education in SMAN 1 Tarumajaya students in Bekasi Regency. The purpose of this study is to develop a learning model that is used to develop student behavior to be better through character education. The subjects of development trials in this study were students of SMAN 1 Tarumajaya in Bekasi Regency, Year lesson 2017. The classes studied were two classes, XI IPS 1 as experimental class and XI IPS 2 as control class. Number of students class XI IPS 1 consists of 42 students and students of class XI IPS 2 consists of 42 students. Different test results of pretest and postes control class have Asymp.Sig of 0.41 which means there is no significant difference. For test result of pretest and postes of experiment class class has Asymp.Sig equal to 0,004 which means there is significant difference. The results of the calculations conclude that there are better characteristic differences in the experimental class compared with the control class.
