Abstract

ABSTRACT DEA ATIKA RATNASARI. The Effect of Spiritual Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence on Teacher Performance In 44 Senior High School East Jakarta. Faculty of Economics, University of Jakarta. 2016. This study aims to determine the influence of spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence on the performance of teachers at SMAN 44 in East Jakarta, partially. This study uses ex post facto with the causal approach that uses primary data (variable exogenous and endogenous variables). The population used in this study were all teachers at SMAN 44 that totaled 47 people. Based on the results of data analysis known that there is a partial effect between spiritual intelligence on teacher performance. The results of data analysis showed that t count > ttabel or 2.863 > 2.014 with 0.006 significance of the numbers so that spiritual intelligence have a positive and significant impact on teacher performance. The results of the analysis of the data for the variables of emotional intelligence on the performance of teachers showed tcount > ttabel or 3.893 > 2.014 with 0.000 significance figures that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant impact on teacher performance. The results of the analysis of the data for the variables spiritual intelligence to emotional intelligence shows tcount > ttabel or 5.109 > 2.014 with 0.000 significance of the numbers so that spiritual intelligence have a positive influence and significant impact on emotional intelligence. The Rsquare value of 0.57. This figure is adjusted to shape percent means the percentage contribution of the influence of spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence to performance is 57% while the rest influenced by other factors not examined. While the value of R is equal to 0.755 where the value included in the category of strong (0.60 to 0.79), which means the relationship spiritual intelligence, emotional intelligence and the relatively strong performance of teachers.
