Abstract

ALDI ALFIANSYAH. The effect of Work Motivation and Compensation on Job Satisfaction Teacher In SMK Islamiyah, Ciputat. Economic Education Studies Program, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, in 2016 This study aims to determine the effect of Work Motivation and Compensation on Job Satisfaction Teacher In SMK Islamiyah, Ciputat based on data and facts are valid and reliable. The study was conducted in SMK Islamiyah Ciputat. The method used was survey method with quantitative approach. Collecting data using a document recording techniques, observation and questionnaires. Affordable population in this study were teachers of SMK Islamiyah Ciputat totaling 52 teachers. The sampling technique using proportional random sampling to obtain a sample of 47 teachers. Data from variable X1 on motivation and job satisfaction variable Y on the primary data in the form of questionnaires while the X2 variable compensation is secondary data in the form of salaries, allowances, transport and salary. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing consisting of t test and F. Based on the results of data analysis known that there was a partial effect between work motivation and job satisfaction. Can be seen from the results of data analysis showed tcount amounted to 3.295 greater than ttabel 2.015. Compensation partially also there is an influence on job satisfaction, it is seen from the results of data analysis showed tcount amounted to 2.423 greater than ttabel 2.015. Simultaneously there is influence between motivation and compensation for job satisfaction. Can be seen from the results of data analysis indicates the value Fhitung 9.861 Ftabel greater than the value of 3.21. There are positive influence between motivation and job satisfaction with compensation for multiple correlation coefficient 0,556 thus, the research hypothesis is accepted, then known coefficient of determination (R2) of 31.0%. Therefore , in order to improve the job satisfaction of teachers to consider motivation and compensation received
