Abstract

ABSTRACT Nur Azizah. Correlation Between Motif Affilation With Work Achievement of employees at PT Metro Pos Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Study Program of Economics Education, Department Economics Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, 2011. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know more the correlation between motif afiliasi with performance of employee’s at PT Metro Pos Jakarta. The research healed at PT Metro Pos Jakarta for four months since September until December 2011. The method of research is survey method with correlation approach, and the data is got from instrument to employee at PT Metro Pos Jakarta. The population research was all of employees with total 71 employees, with 58 employees for sampling and used proportional random sampling. Collecting X variable data (Motif Affilation ) and Y variable data (Performance), using questioner liker scale model, before that it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability X variable (Motif Affilation) is 0,754. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y= 65,77+0,231X. After that data normally test by using Liliefors formula and the result is L = 0,106 in significant level 0,05 and L table = 0,116, so L count < L . It mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is F count table (4,24) > F (4,02). Showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, F (1,37) < F (1,80), showing that regression is linear. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient test, is r table = 0,265 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result, t xy = 26,06 while t table = 1,67 and so, t count > t table table count . It means that there are significance correlations between Motif Affilation with employe’s Performance. Besides that, the result of determination coefficient test is 7, 03%, it means that Performance variable determined by 7,03% Motif Affilation variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a correlation between Motif Affilation with Performance at PT Metro Pos Jakarta.
