Abstract

MUHAMMAD NUR PIRDAUS. The Influence Of Reward and Punishment On Student’s Discipline Class X SMK Tunas Pembangunan Jakarta Selatan. 2016. This aim of the study is to find out if The Influence Of Reward and Punishment On Student’s Discipline Class X SMK Tunas Pembangunan Jakarta Selatan. The hypothesis of this study are : There are influence of reward to student’s discipline, there are influence of punishment to student’s discipline, and there are influence of reward and punishment to student’s discipline. The method that has been used was the survey method with the quantitative approach. The population is all students SMK Tunas Pembangunan and reached population is all students class X business and management expertise with the amount of 130 students. The sampling technique that has been used was a proportional random sampling as many as 95 students. The data collecting that has been used was questionnaire. Based on finding of the regression coefficient test simultaneous, the value of (64,538 > 3,0954) with a sig. of 0,000 with level sig. of 0,05. It can be conclude that there is an influence of reward and punishment to the student’s student’s discipline simultaneously. While the finding of the partial regression coefficient test, reward (6,623 > 1,986) can be conclude that the reward affects on student’s discipline significantly, for punishment (2,196 > 1,986) it can be concluded that the punishment affects on student’s discipline significantly. The hypothesis showed simultaneously or partially all there independent variable (reward and punishment) affects on the dependent variable (student’s discipline). The findings on this study showed that orderly is the dominant indicator in student’s discipline, positive response is the dominant indicator in reward, and enforce regulations is the dominant indicator in punishment. Result showed reward and punishment affects student’s discipline as many as 58.40%.
