Abstract

ABSTRACT MUHAMMAD RIZKI, The Relationship between Achievement Motivation in Job Satisfaction in Employees of PT. Arista Auto Prima in Depok. Skripsi, Jakarta : Economics Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2011. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between Achievement Motivation in Job Satisfaction on the employees of PT. Arista Auto Prima in Depok. The experiment was conducted at PT. Arista Auto Prima in Depok for 5 months from Agustus 2011 until December 2011. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The study population was all employees of PT. Arista Auto Prima in Depok as many as 64 employees, using the population reached as many as 37 employees and a sample that is used as many as 36 employees by using the random proportional (proportional random sampling). To capture both data variables used research instruments shaped research on the Likert scale questionnaire model variable X (Achievement Motivation) and data variables Y (Job Satisfaction) the employees of PT. Arista Auto Prima. Test requirements analysis is used to find the regression equation obtained is Y = 5,43 + 1,067 X. Liliefors normality test results produced L tabel Lhitung = 0,083 whereas for n = 36 at 0,05 significance level was 0,148 because Lhitung < Ltabel then the variables X and Y are normally distributed. Testing the hypothesis by generating regression test keberartian F hitung (56,41) > Ftabel (4,13) which means the regression equation is significant. Testing linearity of regression produces Fhitung (0,12) < Ftabel (2,29) thus concluded that the linear regression equation. Product moment correlation coefficient test result r hitung = 0,616. Keberartian test is then performed by using a correlation coefficient of the t-test, produce thitung (4,56) > ttabel (1,70). Based on the results of these studies concluded that there is a relationship with Achievement Motivation Job Satisfaction on the employees. By testing the coefficient of determination or the determinant obtained 37,91% of variance results Job Satisfaction (Y) is determined by the Achievement Motivation (X). The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive relationship between Achievement Motivation in Job Satisfaction on Employee PT. Arista Auto Prima in Depok.
