Abstract
ABSTRACT ELVIN MAI ANGIASTITI ARMAMI, The Influence of School Environment on Student Achievement Economic Value Class XI Social SMA Wijaya Kusuma East Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Economic Education Cooperative Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. In 2014. This study aims to determine whether there is any influence of the school environment on student achievement XI IPS Wijaya Kusuma High School East Jakarta. The experiment was conducted at the Wijaya Kusuma Jakarta High School East for 5 months from September to January 2014. Research method used was purposive sampling. The population was 720 high school students Wijaya Kusuma Jakarta and inaccessibility population is 162 students of class XI IPS and 114 samples were used as class XI IPS using proportional random sampling technique. To capture the data between the two variables used research instruments in the form of research models Likert scale questionnaire on variable X (Environmental School) and the variable Y (Achievement). Before use, test the construct validity (Construct Validity) through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient score points with a total score and reliability testing using Cronbach Alpha. Results of instrument reliability variable X (Environmental School) of 0.448. Test requirements analysis is to look for the regression equation obtained was Y = 54.40 + 0.127 X. The results of normality test Liliefors produce Lhitung = 0.057 while Ltabel for n = 114 at the 0.05 significance level is 0.083 for Lhitung <Ltabel the variables X and Y are normally distributed. Testing the hypothesis by testing the significance of regression yield of F (28.09)> F (3.94) which means that the regression equation significantly. Testing linearity of regression produces Fhitung (1,05) <F table (1.57) thus concluded that the linear regression equation. Product moment correlation coefficient test produces rhitung = 0.448. Further test the significance of the correlation coefficient using t-test, produce thitung (5.30)> t table (1.67). Based on the results of these studies concluded that there are significant between the school environment with student achievement. With a coefficient of determination or deciding test results obtained 20.05% of the variation of learning achievement (Y) is determined by the school environment (X).
