Abstract
ANISA RAHMAH. Correlation Between Classroom Climate with Achievement learning of Accounting Class XII IPS SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta Academic Year 2011/2012. Skripsi, Jakarta : Study Program of Economic Education Concentration of Accounting Education, Department Economic and Administration, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. July 2012. The purpose of this research is to know correlation between classroom climate with learning achievement of accounting class XII IPS SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta. There are two factors that affect student achievement. First, internal factors consist of physiological factors, interests, intelligence, motivation, and method of learning the students themselves. Second, external factors consist of family, school, social, curriculum, and how teachers teach. And classroom climate is one factor affecting the learning achievement. This research uses survey research forms with the correlational approach. Data variables X (Climate Class) obtained from the charging instrument models as much as 28 points Likert scale statements, then tested the construct validity through a validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient score points with the total score and reliability testing with Alpha Cronbach formula. The results of the reliability of the variable X is 0.871. Meanwhile, the performance study uses secondary data, which is taken from the accounting value of a class XII student of Social Sciences (IPS) VI semesters. Accessible population is 130 students. The total number of sample in this research is 95 respondents consisting of class XII IPS 1, IPS 2 XII, XII IPS 3, IPS 4 and XII using proportional random sampling technique. Test requirements analysis is performed by finding the regression equation, that is Y = 57,71 + 0,19 x. Then, normality test is performed on the error estimate of X using the regression test Liliefors, obtained by Lo and Lt = 0.089 for n = 95, at 0.05 significance level is equal to 0.091. Because Lo < Lt, then the variables X and Y are normally distributed. For regression significance test and the result is F count (27,3) > F (3,91), showing that, it has significance regression. Testing linearity of regression produces F calculated (1.35) < F table table (1.61) thus concluded that the regression equation is linear. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient test is r = 0,470. Continued by using correlation coefficient significance test with t-test counting result is t count (5,135) > t (1,67). It means that there are significance and positive correlation between climate class and learning achievement of accounting. Coefficient of determination with test results obtained 22.09% variable learning achievement (Y) is determined by the classroom climate variables (X). The results of descriptive analysis shows that the classroom climate indicators table of social and psychological aspects is higher than the physical aspects. Sub indicators of comfort, order and cleanliness of the physical aspects of the indicators assessed are lacking. Sub indicators of teacher interaction with students, cooperation, compassion, and involvement is an indicator of social and psychological aspects that is considered to be quite good. The highest value is found in the sub-indicators of engagement between students and teachers. While the lowest values is found in the sub-indicators of cleanliness. In both of these indicators by student teachers are expected to establish a better relationship in order to create better classroom climate, especially on the physical aspects of the class. Teachers are expected to collaborate with students to create comfortable atmosphere in the classroom during the learning-teaching process.
