Abstract
FITRI ANDINI. Correlation Between School Environment And Achievement Motivation On Student Majoring Accounting at State Vocational High School 46 Jakarta. The course study of Economics Education, Concentration Accounting Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, in June 2013. This study aims to obtain accurate data and reliable about how far the correlation between school environment with achievement motivation on sudent majoring accounting at state vocational high school 46 Jakarta. The study was conducted over two months from April 2013 until June 2013. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach, whereas the data obtained from instruments that are distributed to students of class XI Accountancy as many as 74 people. Samples were taken by 58 students . To get the data of variable X (school environment) and the data variable Y (Achievement motivation) used a questionnaire-shaped instrument with a 37 for tehe variable X (school environment)and 36 for the variable Y(achievement motivation) point Likert scale statements. Once the construct validity was tested through the validation process which is the calculating the correlation coefficient score points with the total score and reliability testing with Cronbach Alpha formula. The results of the reliability of the variable X (School environment) is 0.89 while the reliability of the variable Y (Achievement motivation) is 0.91. Test requirements analysis is performed by finding the regression equation. The regression equation obtained was Y = 81.97 +0.34 X. Next is a test for normality of estimated regression error on X by using the liliefors test and earned Lo = 0.0482 compared L tabel at 0.05 significance level at 0.1137 then the Lo < Lt. This means that the error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. To test the significance regression obtained Fcount (4.65)> Ftable (4.00) this means that regression is significance . While the linearity test result Fcount (1,30) <Ftable (1.87), this means that the model used is linear regression. Product Moment Coefficient Correlation test produces rxy = 0.279. Then followed by coefficients significant test using t test. The results obtained are t count at 2.17 while the Ttable on dk = n-2 = 56 and 0.05 significance level is 1.67, meaning t count> Ttable. In addition, the coefficient of determination test obtained by 7.78% which means that the achievement motivation was set at 7.78% by the presence of school environment. Conclusions of this study is that there is a relationship between school environment with achievement motivation This means that if the higher the school environment given the higher levels of achievement motivation
