Abstract

FX. GAMA GETAR AIRLANGGA. The Correlation of Promotion Cost and Amount of Students in GAMA JOGJA Course Education. Script, Jakarta. Majoring Economic and Administration. Program Study Pedagogic of Economic. Concentrate Pedagogic of Accounting. Faculty of Economic. State University of Jakarta. 2013. This research had purpose to get information about how correlation promotion cost and amount of students in GAMA JOGJA’s Course Education . This research was conducted in GAMA JOGJA’s Course Education during three months from May until July 2012. The method was used in this research is survey method with quantitative descriptive correlational approach. Population of this research are all branch of GAMA JOGJA’s Course Education as of June 2011 to June 2012. Inaccessible populations are 73 branch as of June 2011 to June 2012. The sampling techniques used was propotional random sampling. To search variable data X (Promotion Cost) and Y (Amount of Students) used secondary data from data center in head office of GAMA JOGJA’s Course Education. Analysis data starts from making simple regretion equations and the results of this equations was Ŷ = , and normality test used Liliefors test had results L count (-0,902) < L (0,104), there was showed the sample from normal population. Analysis Variance (ANAVA) test had result F table count (16,93) > F (3,13), there showed regretion was significant and regretion linear test had results F table (1,09) < F (1,96) it means model of regretion was linear. The Coefficient Correlations Hypothesis test used Product Moment and count r table xy = 0,439, it means there was strong correlation between X and Y Variable. Significancy test count t count sebesar 1,25 dan t table sebesar 1,67. Because t < t , so researcher concluded there was significant correlation between Promotion Cost and Amount of Student in GAMA JOGJA’s Course Education. table Determination coefficient test count 0,1927. It means variations of Y variable be affected by X variable about 19,27%. So can conclude there was positive correlation and significant between Promotion Cost and Amount of Students in GAMA JOGJA’s Course Education
