Abstract

HABIBULLAH. The Correlation Between Organizational Commitment with Turnover Intention of Teachers SMK PGRI Business and Management Groups in East Jakarta. Script, Jakarta: Economic and Administration Major, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta. 2013. The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is a correlation between organizational commitment with turnover intention of teachers SMK PGRI business and management groups in East Jakarta. This research was carried out for five months, started from February until June 2013. Hypotesis of this research is: “there is correlation between organizational commitment with turnover intention of teachers”. The research method that be used is survey method with the correlational approach. The research population are teachers SMK PGRI Business and Management Groups in East Jakarta who teaches in class accounting. The sampling technique is propotional random sampling with sample by the number of 68 teachers. Prerequirement Analisys test had been done before Hypotesis test, those are normallity test and linearity test. Normallity test is counted by using Liliefors test. For teachers SMK PGRI Business and Management Groups in East Jakarta who teaches in class accounting is obtained L count (0,0861) < L (0,1074). It means sample come from normally distributed population. Linearity test is done with using F-Test with comparing F count and F table table then it is obtained that the data are linier. Because F count (1,55) < F (1,82) therefore Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. It shows that the sample is homogen. Hypotesis test is done with using TTest where the result is t count table (4,494) > t (1,66) therefore zero hypotesis (Ho) is rejected. It means there is correlation between organizational commitment with turnover intention of teachers. From those research above, researcher make a conclusion that : “There Is Correlation Between Organizational Commitment with Turnover Intention of Teachers SMK PGRI Business and Management Groups in East Jakarta who Teaches in Class Accounting .”
