Abstract

NOORMAYSUTI. Correlation Between Conscientiousness With Job Performance on Teachers In SMK Negeri Jakarta Pusat. Skripsi. Jakarta : Concentration in Economic Education, Study Program of Accounting Education, Department of Economic and Administration, Faculty of Economic, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 2013. This research aims to obtain valid and reliable data on the Correlation Between Conscientiousness With Job Performance On Teachers In SMK Negeri Jakarta Pusat. The study was conducted over two months from April to June 2013. The method used is the method of survey correlation approach. The population in this study is the Teachers at SMK Negeri Jakarta Pusat. Inaccessibility population was Teachers who teach on Accounting Class at SMK Negeri Jakarta Pusat totaling 65 teachers. Based on the sampling table of Isaac and Michael number of samples from a population with a sampling error of 5% is 55 teachers. Sampling technique in this research using proportional random sampling technique. To capture the data variable conscientiousness is used questionnaire shaped instrument, which is distributed to the teachers who was not teaching on Accounting Class, after it tested the validity browse through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient score points with the total score and reliability testing with Cronbach Alpha formula. Conscientiousness variable reliability results for 0.9232. And then to capture data variable job performance is used DP3. The regression equation in this research is Ŷ = 518.38 + 0,36x. From the equation, the resulting test performed Liliefors Lo <Lt (0.1054 <0.1194), which means that the data were normally distributed. On the linearity The regression test we got the result F iv h < F -1,04 < 1.91) which can be concluded that the regression model is linear. For regression significance test and the result is F h > F t t (19.13 > 4.02) this proves that the regression mean. Correlation coefficient test results using the product moment values obtained r = 0,5149. This means there is a positive correlation between conscientiousness with job performance. From the test calculations obtained t hitung > t , yaitu 4.46 > 1.67 indicating a significant correlation between conscientiousness with job performance. From the calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained 27% so it can be said that job performance is determined by conscientiousness of 27%. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive and significant relationship between conscientiousness with job performance on teachers in SMK Negeri Jakarta Pusat.
