Abstract

STEFANIE ROROYANTI. The Relationship between Need of Achievement and Student’s Creativity. Economic Education Study Programme, Majoring Economic and Administration, Faculty of Economy, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This study aims to obtain accurate and reliable data regarding the relationship between need of achievement and student’s creativity. The study was conducted over two months from April 2013 until June 2013. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach, whereas the data obtained from instruments that are distributed to 62 student of 81 Senior High School. Samples were taken as many as 51 students. To get the data of variable X (need of achievement) and the data of variable Y (creativity) used a questionnaire. The result of analysis shows that : a) need of achievement of 81 Senior High School students included in high categories, b) creativity of 81 Senior High School students included in moderate. The conclusion of this study is there is a positif and significant relationship between need of achievement and student’s creativity. Need of achievement is a factor that influences creativity of students. This means the higher need of achievement then the higher creativity.
