Abstract

ABSTRACT ASTRI YULIANDARI SUCI PARMIDA. Relationship Between Achievement Motivation in Learning Outcomes In Subjects In Economy Class XI IPS SMA 83 Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Economic Education Program, Cooperative Economics Education Concentration, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, University of Jakarta, July 2013. This study aims to determine the relationship between achievement motivation with Learning Outcomes In Subjects In Economy Class XI IPS SMA 83 Jakarta. This research was carried out on students for 5 (five) months from the beginning of February to June 2013. The method used was a survey method with the correlational approach, whereas the data obtained yng derived from primary and secondary data. The study population was all students class XI IPS, amounting to 105 students by using the entire sample, the study population is 105 students with a level of 5% calculation. The sampling technique used is the census. Collect data variable X (Achievement Motivation) shaped instrument used Likert scale and variable Y (Learning Outcomes) using secondary data based on the average count of the test (daily tests, UTS and UAS). Before the instrument is used for variables X and Y to test the construct validity through the validation process is the calculation of the coefficient score points with the total score and reliability testing using Cronbach Alpha. Results of reliability variable X (Achievement Motivation) of 0.928. Test requirements analysis is used to find the regression equation obtained is = 46,36 + 0.316 X. Next up is the normality test on the estimated regression error above X to Y to use it Lilliefors test and obtained L count (Lo) of 0.085 while L (L count) of 0.086 at significance level (a) of 0.05, it turns out Lcount (L ) or 0.085<0.086. It can be concluded that the error estimates Y over X is normally distributed. To test the significance of regression Fcounto ) < L = 42.52, while the F = 3.91 from test results that the Fcount = 42.52 > F = 3.91 so that the mean regression. While the test is obtained kelinearan F results that the F count = 1.01 < F table count table = 1.01, while the F = 1.63 indicating that the F table table table (L t table = 1.63 from test so that linear regression. Product moment correlation coefficient test result of .541 rxy count . Then proceed with the coefficient significance test using t-test. The result is t = 6.52>1.66 t these calculations it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between achievement motivation with learning outcomes on economic subjects. With a determination coefficient test results obtained by rxy 2 < Ftable table . From = (0.5412) = 0.2922. This means that 29.22% of variation in learning outcomes on economic subjects is determined by achievement motivation. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive relationship between achievement motivation with learning outcomes on economic subjects in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 83 Jakarta.
