Abstract

ABSTRACT SISCA INDAH SARI. 8125080447. “The influence of the selling prices and selling volumes to the profits of the industry of woven cloth in Indonesia during the period 2006-2010”. Mini thesis. The education of Cooperative Economy. Department of Economy and Admnistration. Faculty of Economy. State University of Jakarta. 2012 Profit has a very important part in the industry and company. With the profit it can make possibility in company to open wide its future and keep its life. There are many factor that can influence their profits. When that are very directly connected with the profits which are welling price and selling volume. Those two factor have directly influence on the companies and industry profits exchange prosess. The purpose of this research is to analyze thr influence of the selling price and selling volume to the profit of industry of woven cloth in Indonesia during the beginning of ACFTA agreement. The datas that use is the aggregative data in the industry of woven cloth in Indonesia. Whereas, the data that we use in this research is the secondary data, and we use the time series data during the period of 2006-2010 in monthly times and the informations that we have come from the Ministry of Industrialization. Using the multiple regression analysis model shows that selling price and selling volume have the positive influences to the profits of the industry of woven cloth in Indonesia. From the result of the F test by watching the significant value =0,000 < 0,05, so we can said there are significant effects simultaneously. And then each t test result has shown significant effects, it is known by the significant value < 0,05 for selling price get 0.000, selling volume get 0.000, and dummy get 0.027. From the determination coefficient result (R2) we get 0,827 value, it mean that the independent variable in the equality model could explain the variation of value from profit variable in the amount of 82,7%, and the rest of 17,3% explained by the other variables which not in the model.
