Abstract

ABSTRACT Kartika Oktavia. The Influence Of Compensation and Motivation Towards Discipline Of Employee In PT Arkon Prima Indonesia. Scientific Paper, Jakarta: Study Program of Economic Education, Concetration of Office Administration Education, Economics and Administration Department, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, June 2014. This Study aims to determine whether there is the influence of compensation and motivation towards discipline of employee in PT Arkon Prima Indonesia. The research was conducted over four month from March to June 2014. The research method used is survey method with the correlation approach. The research population was all employee of PT Arkon Prima Indonesia as much 140. The sample used as many as 100 employee by using proportional random sampling. Data variable Y (Discipline) and variable X (Compensation) are secondary data obtained through the company’s data from PT Arkon Prima Indonesia. Data variable X 2 1 (Motivation) Techniques of data analysis using SPSS 16.0. From the result of Ftest, found that F count (27,521) > F table (3,09). This means that X simultaneously affect the Y. T test produce t count of X 1 is (4,903) = t (1,66) and t count X 2 (4,166) = t table (1,66). Because t count = t ,it can be concluded that there is a influence on compensation and motivation towards discipline. Then a coefficient of determination of test results obtained 0,381 or 38,1% variable Y determined by X 1 and X 2 table . Based on the result of regretion model, regression equation obtained is Y = 0,589 + 2,785X 1 + 7,634X 2 table 1 and X . Beside that, the result of R eqqual to 0,381 wich means that compensation and training can explained productivity eqqual to 38,1% and 61,9% explained with another variabel.
