Abstract
ABSTRACT RAHMADHANI MAGFIROH. The Effect of Financial Ratio Toward The Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) in The Companies of The Consumer Goods Industry Sector Listed on The Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2010-2013. Faculty of Economic State University of Jakarta. 2016. The purpose of this study is to know the effect of current ratio, return on assets (ROA), total assets turnover (TATO) and debt equity ratio (DER) toward the investment opportunity set (IOS) in the companies of the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2010-2013. The sample is from twenty nine companies using purposive sampling technique. This study using secondary data obtained from financial statement. The research model in this study using panel data analysis with random effect model approach. The empirical result shows that current ratio has negative and significant effect, ROA has positive and significant effect, TATO has positive and not significant effect and DER has positive and not significant toward the IOS. Simultaneous test shows that current ratio, ROA, TATO, and DER set effect the IOS. Keywords: current ratio, return on assets, total assets turnover, debt equity ratio, investment opportunity set
