Abstract

ABSTRACT Andira Gracia Latuihamallo, 2015; The Influence of Compensation and Leadership Style to Security Guard’s Job Satisfaction (Study in the Area of Blok M Mall South Jakarta). Thesis, Jakarta: Concentration in Human Resource Management, Program Management, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this research are: 1) To know description for the compensation, leadership style, and security guard’s job satisfaction of PT Langgeng Ayomlestari (Blok M Mall). 2) Test empirically influence of compensation towards security guard’s job satisfaction of PT Langgeng Ayomlestari (Blok M Mall). 3) Test empirically influence of leadership style towards security guard’s job satisfaction of PT Langgeng Ayomlestari (Blok M Mall). 4) Test empirically influence of compensation and leadership toward security guard’s job satisfaction of PT Langgeng Ayomlestari (Blok M Mall). 5) To know how big contribution to the compensation and leadership style on job satisfaction guard PT Ayomlestari Lestari (Blok M Mall). The analysis implemented in this study is descriptive and explanatory analysis. Research conducted on 68 security guard of PT Ayomlestari Lestari (Blok M Mall) working in the area of Blok M Mall in South Jakarta. This research using simple random sampling. While the technique of data collection is done by distributing questionnaires were then processed using SPSS 21. The results show that 1) There is a significant and positive effect between compensation and job satisfaction on security guard of PT Ayomlestari Lestari (Blok M Mall). 2) There is a significant and positive effect between leadership style and job satisfaction on securit guard of PT Ayomlestari Lestari (Blok M Mall). 3) The influence of the compensation and leadership style together on job satisfaction on security guard of PT Ayomlestari Lestari (Blok M Mall).
