Abstract

ABSTRACT Nur Dianati, 2015; Analysis of Differences between Entrepreneurial Characteristics, Entrepreneurial Motivation and Entrepreneurial Self- Efficacy (study on Chinese Ethnic Entrepreneur, Minang, Javanese, and Betawi in East Bekasi).Skripsi: Jakarta, Human Resource ManagementConcentration, Management Study Program,Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta . The purpose of this research are: 1) To determine the demographic picture of the Entrepreneur in East Bekasi. 2) To determine whether there are differences entrepreneurial characteristics between Chinese Ethnic Entrepreneur, Minang, Javanese, and Betawi in East Bekasi. 3) To determine whether there are differences entrepreneurial motivation between Chinese Ethnic Entrepreneur, Minang, Javanese, and Betawi in East Bekasi. 4) To determine whether there are differences entrepreneurial self-efficacy between Chinese Ethnic Entrepreneur, Minang, Javanese, and Betawi in East Bekasi. The research is taken 100 entrepreneurs in East Bekasi. The technique sampling in this research is nonprobability sampling using a convenience sampling method or often called accidental sampling. Data analysis method used in this research is the analysis of Kruskal-Wallis that aims to test whether there are differences between the four ethnic entrepreneurs in the independent variable. Hypothesis 1 test results using different test KruskalWallis showed that the value of chi-square count >chi-square (20.888>7.815) and significant (0.000<0.05) thus there are difference entrepreneurial characteristics between Chinese Ethnic Entrepreneur, Minang, Javanese, and Betawi in East Bekasi. Hypothesis 2 test results show that the value of chisquare count >chi-square table table (8.196>7.815) and significant (0.042<0.05) thus there are difference entrepreneurial motivation between Chinese Ethnic Entrepreneur, Minang, Javanese, and Betawi in East Bekasi. Hypothesis 3 test results showed that the value of chi-square count >chi-square (22.002>7.815) and significant (0.000<0.05) thus there are difference entrepreneurial self-efficacy between Chinese Ethnic Entrepreneur, Minang, Javanese, and Betawi in East Bekasi.
