Abstract
ABSTRACT Inna Hadza Sabila, 2013; Motivation, Ethnic, and Parential Background : Case Study in Electronic Entrepreneurs at Blok M Square, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. Skripsi: Jakarta, Human Resource Management, Concentration, Management Study Program, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of the reasearch are: 1) To know description about motivation related to ethnic and parental background in elektronic entrepreneurs at Blok M Square. 2) Test empirically difference of entrepreneurship motivation towards Chinese entrepreneurs and Locals entrepreneurs at Blok M Square. 3) Test empirically difference of entrepreneurship motivation towards Chinese entrepreneurs at Blok M Square based on parental background. 4) Test empirically difference of entrepreneurship motivation towards Locals entrepreneurs at Blok M Square based on parental background. The analysis implemented in this research are descriptive and comparative analysis. This research is taken 84 entrepreneurs at Blok M Square by using proportional stratified random sampling method. While data collection by using questionnaire and cultivated processed using Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS version 17.00 to test hypothesis using independent sample t-test method. The result showed that: 1) There are differences in motivation between Chinese entrepreneurs and Locals entrepreneurs. 2) There are differences in entrepreneurship motivation that parents have their own business between Chinese entrepreneurs and Locals entrepreneurs. 3) There are differences in entrepreneurship motivation that parents do not have their own business among Chinese entrepreneurs and Locals entrpreneurs. 4) There are differences in entrepreneurship motivation among Locals entrepreneurs associated with parental background. 5) There are similarities entrepreneurship motivation among ethnic Chinese entrepreneurs associated with parental background.
