Abstract
ARDILA ARYANI. The Correlation Between Job Satisfaction With Performance Appraisal At Employee of PT. Sinar Samudera Logs Jakarta. Studies Program Commerce Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, July 2012. This study aimed at obtaining empirical data and facts which are authentic, valid and reliable on The Correlation Between Job Satisfaction With Performance Appraisal At Employee of PT. Sinar Samudera Logs Jakarta. This research was conducted at PT. Sinar Samudera Logs Jakarta for four months, from April to July 2012. The method used was survey method with the correlational approach. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The populations in this study is all of employee PT. Sinar Samudera Logs Jakarta. While the population is the inaccessibility is all employee of PT. Sinar Samudera Logs Jakarta are working on division SPI as many as 34 employees. The technique which used in gathering the sample was simple random sampling abaout 32 employees. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 25,628+0,4408X. Analysis of conditional test, which is normality error test for regression approximates of X on Y wit lilifors test, result in Lcount = 0,093, while Ltable is 0,1566., because Lcount < Ltable then normality error test of Y on X distributed normal. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount < Ftable is 1,61 < 2,51, thus concluded that the equation is linear. Significance regression results in Fcount > Ftable is 16,07 > 4,15, it is mean that the regression equation is significance. Results of hypothesis test which person product mometh show that rxy = 0,591, then significance of product moment corretional test using the t-test produced tcount = 4,01 > ttable = 1,70. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0,591 is significance. The coefficient of determination was 35% which indicated that variation of Performance Appraisal is determined by Job Satisfaction and 65% determinate other factor. The results of calculations conclude that there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction with performance appraisal at employee of PT. Sinar Samudera Logs Jakarta.
