Abstract

The Correlation Between Interest In Becoming A Teacher With Result of Subject Learning Teaching And Learning Strategies At Student of Commerce Education Studies Program, Economic And Administration Department, Economic Faculty, State University of Jakarta. The aim of this research is to determine the correlation between interest in becoming a teacher with result of subject learning teaching and learning strategies at student of Commerce Education Studies Program, Economic And Administration Department, Economic Faculty, State University of Jakarta, by using empirical data and facts are valid, valid and reliable. This research conducted at Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, during the three months from March to June 2012. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The sampling technique in this studies is simple random technique. The population in this studies is Studies program of Commerce Education Student while the accessibility of the population is 2008 Studies program of Commerce Education Student who take the subject learning teaching and learning strategies in 6th semester (094) as many as 90 people. The sample used as many as 72 people with standard errors 5%. The instrumen used to get data for variable x (interest in becoming a teacher) and variable y (result of subject learning teaching and learning strategies). Instrumen form is Questionnaire with Likert scale which consist of 40 statements and secondary data of the value of subject learning teaching and learning strategies in 6th semester (094) year 2011. Before the instrumen used, it had been test for the validity and get the 31 statements which is valid and 9 statements which is drop. Its continued with reliability tes with Alpha Cronbach formula. The reliability for variable x is 0,998, it can be said to be very high. Analysis of condition test, which is normally error test for regression approximates of X on Y with Lilifors test, result in Lcount = 0,1016, while Ltable = 0,1044, because Lcount < Ltable then the normally error test of Y on X distributed normal. The equation for linear regression is Ŷ = 65,61 + 0,1319 X. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount < Ftable is 1,56 < 1,81 so it can be said that it was linear. Significance regression result in Fcount > Ftable is 75,89 > 3,98, it is mean that the regression equation is significant. Thus conclude using the formula of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0,721, then significance of product moment correlation is the tested with t test which yield tcount = 8,705 and ttable = 1,671, it can be result that product moment correlation rxy = 0,721 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained for 51,98% result of subject learning teaching and learning strategies is determined by interest in becoming a teacher.
