Abstract

ABSTRACT Hijrahnan Indrajaya, 8215078055, 2012; The Influence of Leadership and Communication toward Organizational Change at Badan Kepegawaian Negara. Skripsi, Jakarta: Human Resource Management Concentration, Management Study Program, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purposes of this research are: 1) To know the description of leadership, communication and organizational change at Badan Kepegawaian Negara. 2) Test empirically the influence of leadership towards organizational change at Badan Kepegawaian Negara. 3) Test empirically the influence of communication towards organizational change at Badan Kepegawaian Negara. 4) Test empirically of leadership and communication together towards organizational change at Badan Kepegawaian Negara. The analysis implemented in this research are simple linear analysis and multiple linear analysis. This research use stratified random sampling method from of 138 employee at Badan Kepegawaian Negara and the data collected by using questionnaire then processed it with SPSS 19.0. T test result on leadership variable is 8.483 with significant value 0.000. These results indicate that leadership has significant influence towards organizational change especially on organizational change, especially organizational change management. T test on communication variable is 8.278 with significant value 0.000. These results indicate that communication has significant influence towards organizational change. F test result is 46.361 with significant value 0.000. These result indicate that leadership and communication together had significant influence towards organizational change. the result of R2 is 0.407 or 40.7%. That mean, leadership and communication have influence towards organizational change especially organizational change management for 40.7% Key words: Leadership, communication, organizational change management, organizational change, change management
