Abstract
ABDULLAH. 2012. 8323098142. Analisis Penggunaan Kredit Berdokumen / Letter of Credit (L/C) Untuk Pembayaran Ekspor Impor pada PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering. Program Studi DIII Akuntansi. Jurusan Akuntansi. Fakultas Ekonomi. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. World trade is increasingly developed not only confined to trade in the country but also is widespread across the country where the trader and the purcasherare limited by long distances thus to meet face to face is very difficult. Therefore guarantee between the two sides is very important thing. Guarantee for the purchaser needs to buy his goods in a while traders need a guarantee of payment for goods in the sale. Letter of Credit (L / C) could be the answer to the question above. This paper is a descriptive study and direct research to the companies that conducts foreign trade PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering. This paper is written with the aim to find out the procedures to be performed in the company's payment transactions using the L / C as well as any company to be considered in selecting L / C. The method used is descriptive analysis with primary and secondary data. The study found that the payment by L / C is performed by the company in accordance with the procedures and the factors that the reason for the selection of L / C as payment
