Abstract

Nurlina Hastadewi, 2012 ; The Influence of Leadership Behavior, Organizational Structure, Job Description, and Working Culture On Company’s Internal Control. Generally, the goals of this observation are : first, to determine the effect of leadership behavior on company’s internal control. Second, to determine the influence of organizational structure on company’s internal control. Third, to determine the influence of job description on company’s internal control. And fourth, to determine the influence of working culture on company’s internal control. The collection of data obtained through questionnaires distributed directly to the internal auditor who works in PT. Mandom Indonesia, Tbk, PT. CINOG, PT. Unelec Indonesia, PT. Kanaya, PT. Kinocare Era Kosmetindo, PT. Punj Ilyod Indonesia, PT. Citra Ina Feedmill, PT. Yakult Indonesia Persada, PT. Mecosuprin Grafia, PT. WOM Finance, PT. Asuransi Jiwa Tugu Mandiri, DPLK Tugu Mandiri, Bank Negara Indonesia, Tbk, Bank Mega, Tbk, Bank Bukopin, tbk, PT. Dtex Indonesia, PT. Asuransi Bangun Askrida, Bank Jawa Barat, PT. PELINDO, Rekadaya Elektrika, PT. Fosroc Indonesia, PT. Dayin Mitra. All the questionnaires scattered returned 60 questionnaires and can be processed using SPSS 16.00. Analysis methods of this study are the assumption of classical test, multiple regression analysis, F-test and T-test. From the test conducted, the results of this research indicated that the the leadership behavior, organizational structure, job descriptions, and working culture has an influence on internal control in a company. Those are evident from the results of simultaneous hypothesis testing 'Significant' indicates the value of 0.000. If a significant value indicates a value of less than 0.005 means variables X1, X2, X3, and X4 effect simultaneously (simultaneously) to the variable Y. And from the results of testing the hypothesis of partial significance values for the leadership behavior of 0.000, organizational structure 0.000, job descriptions for 0.000 and the work culture of 0.000. This method indicated that the variable the leadership behavior, organizational structure, job descriptions, and working culture has a partial relation (partial-t) with the dependent variable Company’s Internal Control. Many theories were supporting this research. As mentioned in the theory that the four independent variables are the part contained in internal control factor on five factors of internal control.
