Abstract
KARTIKA DWI APRIANTI. Correlation Between Parental Social Support and Academic Procrastination In Doing A Thesis of Commerce Education Studies Faculty Economy State University Of Jakarta. Study Program Commercial Education, Major of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. This study aims to obtain data / facts right (authentic, true, valid) and trustworthy (reliable) about how far Correlation Between Parental Social Support and Academic Procrastination In Doing A Thesis of Commerce Education Studies Faculty Economy State University Of Jakarta. The study was conducted over four months from March to June 2012. The method used is survey method approach to correlation. The population in this study were the students of economyc cooperation. Population is the inaccessibility of this research were the students of college commerce education which is take a thesis in their studies. Then, based on the determination of the sample table of Isaac and Michael amount of sample from a population with a sampling error of 5% is 78 students of college commerce education. This sampling technique using simple random sampling technique. To capture the data variable X (Parental Social Support) and variable Y (Academic Procrastination), is used questionnaire shaped instrument, which is distributed to the the students of college commerce education, after it tested the validity browse through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient score points with the total score and reliability testing with Cronbach Alpha formula. The results of the reliability of the variable X (Parental Social Support) of 0919 and reliability of the variable Y (Academic procrastination) of 0915 . Test requirements analysis is performed by finding that the regression equation was Y = 67,19 - 042 X. Next is a test for normality of estimated regression error on X by using the test and earned Liliefors Lhitung = Ltabel in 00940 compared to the 0.05 level by 0100. the Lo <Lt. This means that the error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. Obtained regression test keberartian Fcalculted (15:18)> Ftable (3:96), this proves that the regression mean. While the linearity test result Fcalculated 0.40 <Ftable 1:75, this means that used linear regression models. Product moment correlation coefficient test produces rxy = 0458. Then proceed to test the significance of the coefficient by using t test. The results obtained are tcount 4.492, whereas a Ttable on dk = n - 2 = 78-2 = 76 and the 0.05 level is 1.70, meaning tcount> Ttable. The calculation of the coefficient of determination yield rxy2 = 04582 = 0.2098. This shows that 20.98% variation in employee performance is determined by incentive. Conclusions of this study is that there is a negative Correlation Between Parental Social Support and Academic Procrastination In Doing A Thesis of Commerce Education Studies Faculty Economy State University Of Jakarta.
