Abstract

FEBRINDA STAFINA: The Correlation Between Job Satisfaction with Morale at Employees on Local Water Waste Company in Jakarta. Studies Program Commerce Education, Departemen of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, January 2013. The research was conducted at Local Water Waste Company in Jakarta, for five months from September 2012 until Januari 2013. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The sampling technique used is proporsional random sampling technique. The population in this study are employess of Local Water Waste Company in Jakarta. Achievable population it is amount 68 employees and this is amount 36 employees come from General division, Operational and maintenance division, and also financial division. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Ŷ= 45,01+0,46 X. after that, data normality test by using liliefors formula and the result is Lo= 0,1466 in significant level 0.05 and Lt = 0,1476. So, Lo < Lt, mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is, Fcount (0,81) > Ftable (2,33), showing that regression. While regression linierity test, Fcount (14,05) < Ftable (4,13), showing that regressing is linier. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient significance test, is rxy 0,638. Continued by using correlation coefficient significance test with test-t. counting result is tcount = 4,829, while ttabel is 1,69 and so tcount > ttabel. The coefficient of determination obtained for 40,68% which shows that 40,68% of morale is determined by the job satisfaction. The results of calculations conclude that there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction with morale at employees on Local Water Waste Company in Jakarta.
