Abstract

FERRY ANGGRIYANI. Relationship Between the independence of Students Career Guidance In Choosing Career In Class XII Students of SMK N 48 Jakarta. Scription, Jakarta: Study of Commerce Education. Major Economy and Administration, Faculty of Economy, State University of Jakarta. The study was conducted over four months from March to July 2012. The method used is the method of survey correlation approach. The population in this study were all students of class XII SMK N 48 Jakarta. Inaccessibility population is XII class student Marketing majors who are 71 students. Then, based on the sampling table of Isaac and Michael number of samples from a population with a sampling error of 5% is 58 students. This sampling technique using simple random sampling technique. To capture the data variable X (Career Guidance), used questionnaires shaped instrument, which is distributed to the students of class XII of Marketing, after it tested the validity of the contents through the validation process of calculating the correlation coefficient score points with the total score and the reliability test by Cronbach alpha formula. Then for a variable Y (Independence Students In choosing careers) shaped instrument also used a questionnaire, distributed to students of class XII Marketing. Results of reliability variable X (Career Guidance) of 1028. While the reliability of the outcome variable Y (Independence In Choosing a Career) by 1034. Test requirements analysis is done by looking at the regression equation is Y = 73.27 to 0.225 x X. Next is the estimated regression error normality test on X using the test and obtained Liliefors Lo = 0.085 compared with Ltable in 0.116 at the 0.05 level. the Lo <Lt. This means that the error estimates Y over X is normally distributed. Test significance Fcount regression (26.40)> F table (4.02), this proves that the regression mean. While the linearity test result Fcount (8.64) <F table (2.07), this means linear regression models were used. Product moment correlation coefficient test result rxy of 0567. Then proceed with the coefficient significance test using the t test. The results obtained are thitung (5.15), while the Ttable at dk = n - 2 = 58-2 = 56, and the 0.05 level is 1.68, meaning t count> t table. The calculation of the coefficient of determination produce rxy2 = 0.5672 = 0.3211. This shows that 32.11% variation independence of students in choosing a career is determined by the career guidance. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive relationship between career guidance to students in choosing a career independence in class XII SMK N 48 Jakarta.
