Abstract
ABSTRACT ANINDIA PRADANARI, 8105145058, The Effect of Compensation and Placement Towards Job Satisfaction at Employees of PT. Sewito Eka Cahaya., Scriptis, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2018 The purpose of this study was conducted to determine whether there is the effect between compensation and placement towards job satisfaction at employees of PT. Sewito Eka Cahaya in Jakarta. This research was conducted for four months, that is February - May 2018. The method used in this research is quantitative method with survey approach. Population in this research is all employees at PT. Sewito Eka Cahaya totaling 94 employees, with an affordable population of 73 employees from all employees in engineering executing section 32 employees, Engineering Planning Section 27 employees and Logistic Section 14 employees. Using the Isaac and Michael table with α 5% error rate then the number of samples to be taken from the population is 62 employees. The sampling technique used is a simple random technique. Data collection in this research use interview technique and withdrawal data using questioner. The variables studied in the research are Compensation (X1), Placement (X2) and Job Satisfaction (Y) is the primary data obtained from withdrawal of questionnaire in research sample. Data analysis techniques used first test requirements consisting of the normality test and linearity test, then the second test is a classical assumption test consisting of multicolinearity test and heterokedatisitas test. The third test is a multiple regression analysis. The fourth test is a hypothesis test consisting of F test and t test and the last analysis of coefficient of determination. In the calculation of tcount statistics successively in the compensation and placement variables is 8,413 and 2,030 with ttable of 2,001 this means that tarithmetic> t table, so it can be concluded that the Compensation and Placement each has a significant partial influence on job satisfaction. then on F test obtained F count equal to 52,606. Given the value of F table of 3,15. So F calculated equal to 52,606 > Ftable value of 3,15 with this it can be stated that H0 is rejected so it can be concluded that Compensation and Placement simultaneously influence to Job Satisfaction. the results of multiple regression calculations in the study obtained multiple regression equation (Y = 6,668 + 0,910X1 + 0,240X2 . he coefficient of determination square 641 is equal to 64%, which means that Compensation and Placement affects the Job Satisfaction of 64% while the rest of 36% is influenced by other variables outside the research regression model. Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Compensation, Placement
