Abstract

The Relationship between Self Efficacy and Communication Skill with Public Speaking Anxiety among X Grade Student Of Automation And Office Management Program at Vocational High School 46 Jakarta This study aims to determine relationship between Self Efficacy and Communication Skill with Public Speaking Anxiety among X Grade Student Of Automation And Office Management Program at Vocational High School 46 Jakarta. This research was conducted for two months strarting from February 2018 until March 2018. The research used survey and observation method. The population in this study is all of class X student at SMK Negeri 46 Jakarta. The reachable population is class X student student Of Automation And Office Management Program at SMK Negeri 46 Jakarta. Technic of sampling using proportional random sampling with 58 responnder. Y varible (Public Speaking Anxiety), X1 (Self Efficacy), is the primary data using International Standardized Scalewith Likert scale mode and X2 (Skill Communication) is the primary data using observation. Data analysis technique using SPSS 22.0. F test result is F count (7.829) > F table (3,16), in this case X1 and X2 varibles simultaniously has relationship with Y variable. T test produce X1- t count (-2,375) < - t table (-2,001), it means there is negative and significant relationship between X1 with Y. X2 - t count (-3.185) < - t table (-2,001), it means there is negative and significant relationship between X2 with Y. Based the analysis of multiple regression equation obtained equation = 90.595 + (-0,551) X1 + (- 0,233) X2. The value of coefficient correlation (R) is 0,0661 which is categorized as a strong relationship. Based of determination coefficient (R²) test obtained value 47,2% which means self efficacy (X1) and sosial support (X2) have an effect on self adjustment (Y) equal to 47.2% and the rest 52,8% influenced by other variables that are not researched.
