Abstract
NOFI ARISTI, The Correlation Between Incentive With Employee Job Satisfaction at PT PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jakarta Raya dan Tangerang. Thesis, Jakarta. Commerce Education Study Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, July 2013. The aim of this research is to know correlation between incentive with employee job satisfaction to maked empirical data valid and reliable fact. The research was conducted at PT PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jakarta Raya dan Tangerang for three months from March until May 2013. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. Population in this research is all of PT PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jakarta Raya dan Tangerang employees, where as the possible populations who employees of Niaga and Keuangan amounting to 80 people. The technique which is used in gathering the sample was simple random sampling about 65 people. To capture the data variable X (Incentive) shaped instrument kuesioner used likert scale and variable Y (Job Satisfaction) researches using likert scale. Validity to the variable X of the 33 item statements that there are 5 points drop, while meeting the criteria or a valid statement consists of 28 items. For variable Y of the 23 item validated statement that there are 5 points drop, while meeting the criteria or a valid statement consists of 18 items. The results of the variable X reliability is 0,936 and variable Y reliability is 0,908. These results prove that the instrument reliable. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 55,46 + 0.25 X. Test requirements analysis of the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount liliefors test = 0,1071, while the Ltable for n = 65 at 0,05 significant level is 0,10989. Because the Lcount < Ltable then an error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount <Ftable is 2,44 < 2,48, so it was concluded that the linear equation regression. From test significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable, which is 7,15 > 3,99, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0,380, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount = 3,256 and Ttable = 1,67. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.380 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained for 14,41% which shows that 14,41% of the variation of job satisfaction is determined by the incentive.
