Abstract
This research aims to analyze and verify the variable anywhere between the independent variables CR, QR, DER, DAR, ITO, TATO and NPM have significant effect on ROA and / or ROE and whether there is a level of efficiency differences among industry groups in mining, manufacturing , trade and real estate listed on the IDX for the period 2008-2012. The population in this study are mining, manufacturing, trade and real estate companies listed on the IDX for the period 2008-2012 with certain criteria. The analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis, to prove the performance efficiency using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) as well as to test for differences by using ANOVA. The results showed only variable DAR, DER, NPM, and TATO which have a significant effect on ROA and / or ROE therefore be used as inputs to the measurement of the efficiency with ROA and ROE as its output. DEA results found that the average technical efficiency and efficiency scale of the four industry groups have not reached the technical efficiency of 100 per cent although for some companies in each industry group there that has achieved technic efficiencies 100 per cent and DMU has worked optimally throughout the study period. ANOVA test result was found for the difference between the efficiency of the mining industry with real estate industry.
