Abstract

Riska Oktavia, 8105110047. The Influence of Teacher Quality and Education Cost to Education Quality in Senior High School in Indonesia on 2010-2017. Jakarta: Economics of Education Studies Program, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, in 2018. This research is purposed to analyse the influence of Teacher Quality and Education Cost to Education Quality in Senior High School in Indonesia. Type of data used in this research is panel data for the periods 2010-2017 with secondary amount the number of teacher according to the level of education teacher based on a diploma highest, School Operational Assistance (BOS), and number of graduates, data published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Data analysis technique used in this research is panel regression analysis and data processing using EViews 9.0 program. The output that simultant show the Teacher Quality (X1) and Cost of Education (X2) have a positive significant effect on the Education Quality (Y) in Senior High School in Indonesia. Based on the partially result it can be concluded teacher quality has a significant positive to education quality and education cost has a significant positive effect to education quality in Indonesia. The coefficient of determination (R2) obtained by 0,983226, it means that number of graduate in Indonesia could be explained by change the number of teachers according to the level of education teacher and School Operational Assistance as amount 98,3%, while the rest is explained by others factors that do not exist in this research model.
