Abstract

RESKA SEPTIANI RUSMANA. The relationship between emotional quotient and motivation with the learning outcomes of Business Economics Introduction to the students of XIth grade at SMK Negeri 10 Jakarta. Skripsi. Jakarta: Pendidikan Bisnis, Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 2018. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between emotional quotient and motivation with the learning results of Business Economics Introduction to the students of XIth grade at SMK Negeri 10 Jakarta. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 10 Jakarta, for 6 months starting from January until June 2018. The research method used is survey method with correlational approach, the accessible population is students of XIth grade at SMK Negeri 10 Jakarta, amounting to 210 students. The sampling technique used is by proportional random sampling technique as many as 131 students. The multiple linear regression equation produced is Ŷ = 44,413 + 0,263 X1 + 0,127 X2. Test requirement analysis that is test of normality with Kolmogorov-Smirnov test with significance level (α) = 5% or 0.05 and yield significant level equal to 0.200. Because of the significance level > 0.05, then it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed and can be used in further analysis. From simultaneous significance test (Test F) yield Fcount 156,090 > Ftable 3,070, so it can be concluded that emotional quotient and learning motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on learning outcomes. Furthermore, t test between X1 and Y resulted in tcount 5,915 > ttable 1,97867, so the partial conclusion there is a significant influence between emotional quotient and student learning outcomes. While t test of X2 and Y yield tcount 2,825 > ttable 1,97867, so the partial conclusion there is significant influence between motivation with student learning result. The coefficient of determination Y on X1 and X2 obtained by 0.709 indicates that 70.9% variable of student learning outcomes is determined by emotional quotient and learning motivation.
