Abstract
PUTRINDA DWI RACHMIARTI The Correlation Between Compensation Employee Discipline Work At PT. Sucaco, Tbk West Jakarta. Study Program of Commerce Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, July 2013. This research was conducted at PT. Sucaco, Tbk, for one month starting from May 2013 until June 2013. Purpose of this study is to obtain the proper knowledge to obtain empirical data and right facts, valid, and can be trusted and relied on the relationship between compensation and discipline of employees at PT. Sucaco, Tbk. The research method used was a survey method with the correlational approach. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Sucaco, Tbk. Inaccessibility population is employees of the Production PT. Sucaco, Tbk as many as 60 people. The sampling technique used was simple random technique as many as 51 people. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 46.65 + 0.360 X. Test requirements analysis is the normality test on the estimated error of regression Y on X to produce Lcount liliefors test = 0,051, whereas the Ltable for n = 51 at significance level of 0.05 is 0.124. Because the Lcount < Ltable then an error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcalculated <Ftable is 1.36 <2.05, so it was concluded that the linear equation regression. From test significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable, which is 22.80> 4.04, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0.564, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount = 4.77 and Ttable = 1.68. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.564 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained at 31.75%, which indicates that 31.75% of the variation is determined by the compensation of labor discipline.
