Abstract
NUR FADILLAH. 8105145083. The Influens of Transformational Leadership and Job Satisfaction on Organizational Commitment to Employees of PT PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jakarta Raya. Thesis. Jakarta: Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics, State University Jakarta, 2018. This study aims to determine the influens of transformational leadership and job satisfaction on organizational commitment on employees of PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Jakarta Raya. This research was conducted for three months starting from May to July 2018. The research method used was survey method. The population in this study were all employees at PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Jakarta Raya. With an affordable population are twelve fields with 140 employees. The sample used in this study was 100 employees and the sampling used proportional random sampling. Variable data X1 (Transformational Leadership) is primary data that uses replica questionnaire instruments from Bass and Avolio. While the variable data X2 (Job Satisfaction) and Y (Organizational Commitment) instruments used were questionnaires and Likert scales. Before being used, the validity of the construct validity is carried out through the validation process, namely the calculation of the correlation coefficient of the item score with the total score and the reliability test with the Alpha Cronbach formula. The reliability of the variable X1 is 0.93, X2 is 0.858, and Y is 0.803. These results prove that the instrument is reliable. Data analysis techniques using IBM SPSS Statistics v.23. Based on the results of the analysis of the requirements test, the data is normally distributed and has a linear relationship. based on the classic assumption test, in the multicollinearity test there is a Tolerance value of 0.744 which is greater than 0.1 and VIF less than 10 that is 1.343. It can be concluded that there is no multicollinearity problem. Furthermore, looking for a significance test of X1 0.952 and X2 0.713 because the significance value is more than 0.05, there is no heterocedasticity problem. The regression equation obtained is Ŷ = 24.405 + 0.284 X1 + 0.485 X2. Hypothesis testing is F test in ANOVA table, it is known Fcount 61,835> Ftable 3,09. The t test yields the tcount of Transformational Leadership 5,047> ttable 1,98 and the tcount of job satisfaction is 5,998> t table 1,98. then the determination coefficient test obtained 56% of the remaining 44% is influenced by other factors not examined. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of transformational leadership and job satisfaction on organizational commitment on employees of PT PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jakarta Raya.
